1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Lina'la platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including patients, healthcare providers, and clinic administrators.

2. Description of Service

Lina'la is a multilingual health communication platform that enables patients to log health information in their preferred language and share it with their healthcare providers in English. The platform includes messaging, vitals tracking, medication logging, document storage, appointment coordination, and a health guidance feature.

Lina'la is not a medical provider. The platform facilitates communication between patients and their existing care teams. It does not provide diagnoses, medical advice, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You may not share your account with others
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • Healthcare providers must hold valid licensure in their jurisdiction

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to transmit false, misleading, or fraudulent health information
  • Impersonate a healthcare provider or other person
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Service without permission

5. Health Information Disclaimer

Content provided through the health guidance feature is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Translations are generated automatically and may not be perfect — providers should always exercise professional clinical judgment. In a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately (911 in the US).

6. Subscription and Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

7. Intellectual Property

The Lina'la platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Lina'la Health and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the health information and content you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lina'la Health shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, you may request a copy of your health data within 30 days.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by applicable law.
